A company is looking for an Associate Editor, Popular
Science.
Key Responsibilities
Research, write, assign, and edit 1-3 stories per day
Pitch and write 2-4 stories per month
Develop and maintain relationships with freelancers and
contributors
Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years editing experience, preferably at a tech or
science publication
Minimum 1 year experience writing, preferably for a science
publication
Strong grasp of AP style and standard editorial practices
General delightful disposition with an ability to deliver helpful
feedback
