Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer and enhance a primarily Azure & Windows-based environment with limited Linux system management, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Configure and maintain application hosting and delivery using IIS and Nginx reverse proxy.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, including scripting with Groovy and PowerShell.
- Implement and oversee secure, scalable storage solutions using AWS Buckets.
- Manage DNS configurations to ensure efficient system availability and resolution.
- Design, implement, and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to safeguard applications against potential threats.
- Establish comprehensive backup strategies to ensure data integrity and rapid recovery capabilities.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance deployment workflows.
- Monitor system performance and address issues across production and development environments.
- Ensure infrastructure meets security best practices and compliance standards.

Skills & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or related position.
- Extensive experience with Windows environments, coupled with basic familiarity with Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with IIS and Nginx reverse proxy setup and management.
- Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure VMs.
- Expertise in Jenkins, including scripting using Groovy and PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of DNS configuration and management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and their deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective backup and recovery strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, like Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of network security, routing protocols, and load balancing techniques.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
