Job Description:
B. Braun Medical Inc. seeks a seasoned Sr. Manufacturing
Engineer to lead our engineering efforts and contribute to our
mission of enhancing healthcare through innovative and sustainable
solutions. Based in our Engineering & Maintenance department, the
successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing
manufacturing processes and ensuring equipment excellence to meet
production targets while adhering to environmental best practices.
This position provides an opportunity to impact global healthcare
delivery directly, working in a state-of-the-art manufacturing
environment. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods,
utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication
processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities. Analyze
and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and
design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications and
arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts. Assess and
ensure compliance with both internal and regulatory standards for
quality, safety, and environmental policies. Lead cross-functional
teams to troubleshoot and solve complex production issues.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and
maximize process efficiency. Prepare and maintain detailed
documentation for engineering procedures and protocols. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent technical
capabilities in CAD software and MS Office. In-depth knowledge of
Lean manufacturing principles. Ability to lead and work
collaboratively in a cross-functional team. Effective communication
and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance 401k Certified
Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) by Society of Manufacturing
Engineers is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
certification is advantageous.
