Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Government Affairs -
West.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the government affairs strategy to secure coverage
and reimbursement for genetic testing services
Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with various teams
to enhance access and reimbursement initiatives
Build relationships with government officials and stakeholders to
advocate for policies that improve access and market presence
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in political science, Public Policy,
Public Health, or a related field preferred
Minimum 7-8 years of experience in US Government Affairs focused on
healthcare or life sciences
Strong knowledge of Medicaid coverage and funding mechanisms
Experience in laboratory, genomics, and/or rare disease is highly
preferred
Ability to manage external consultants and lobbying partners
