Job Description:
A company is looking for a Licensed Pediatric Mental Health
Intake Therapist (Virtual) - 1099 Independent Contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12
students and their guardians
Collaborate with other therapists to facilitate successful
transitions into services
Provide culturally relevant and age-appropriate counseling as
needed
Required Qualifications
Licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health
Counselor (LMHC) without restrictions
Licensed in Iowa for a minimum of 3 years and possess an additional
license in specified states or be eligible to apply
Willingness to be enrolled with insurance companies, including
Medicaid
Knowledge of treatment strategies for children's mental health
needs
Experience and education in clinical practice areas
