Pay Information $2,000 to $2,400 per week About The Position Job Title: RN-PACU Location: Apple Valley,CA Pay Range: $2000/week-$2424/week Start Date: Two weeks from the date of position offered. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled RN-PACU to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures, providing accurate results crucial for patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Monitor Post-Operative Patients : Continuously assess vital signs, pain levels, consciousness, and surgical sites to ensure a safe recovery from anesthesia. Administer Medications : Deliver pain relief, anti-nausea, and other prescribed medications as needed during the post-anesthesia recovery phase. Manage Airway and Breathing : Ensure patient airways remain open, administer oxygen, and intervene in case of respiratory complications. Provide Emotional Support : Comfort patients as they regain consciousness and communicate with families regarding recovery status and post-op instructions. Document Patient Care : Accurately chart assessments, interventions, medications given, and patient responses in medical records. Qualifications Active RN License : Must hold a valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. BLS & ACLS Certifications : Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is typically required. PACU or Critical Care Experience : Previous experience in PACU, ICU, or another critical care setting is often preferred or required. Strong Assessment & Monitoring Skills : Ability to assess patient conditions quickly and respond to changes in vital signs, consciousness, or pain levels. Excellent Communication & Teamwork : Strong ability to communicate with patients, families, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare team members effectively.
