About the Position Job Title: Clinical Nurse I Profession: RN

Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of home health
experience required License: Current licensure as a Registered
Nurse Certifications: Current BLS certification required prior to
clinical rotation Must-Have: Must be a licensed driver with an
insured automobile Description: The Clinical Nurse I role provides
direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act to
assigned patients in the Home Health and/or Hospice setting. The
nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team
to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, and appropriate quality
patient care. This includes providing physical assessments, IV,
infusion, nursing interventions, pain management, medication
administration, specimen collection, meeting nutritional needs, and
teaching and discharge needs of the assigned patients. Utilizes the
nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet
patient care needs. Evaluates and adjusts the nursing care process
as necessary with consultation and confers with the appropriate
resource personnel when making ethical, legal, and medical
decisions. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Required
