Job Description:

Dispatcher AdGoals and Responsibilities: Assist in setting up daily dispatch which includes matching driver and trailer management. Trailer cleaning communications with wash facilities. Maintain trailer resource and accountability. Driver Management and Customer relations. Regulatory compliance including hours of service and DOT compliance. Maintain dispatch resource board and communication regarding driver locations and needs. Ensure proper paperwork for current and future orders and entered in the system and communicated to dispatch. Billing of completed orders. Check calls to drivers on status and location. Tasks: Supervise drivers and accurately reflect resources availability and utilization through resource board, TMW and other dispatch tools. Enter NCR's and notify terminal Customer Service Supervisor with service problems. Maintain communications with tank wash personnel to ensure efficient, affordable, and on-time cleaning of equipment. Ensure that trailer yard check system is updated daily. Order entry, label printing and dispatch functions. Daily Outbound Driver Report & Turnover Report. Field customer calls and drivers inquiries.
