Opportunity
This position has the responsibility for the continued execution of
system configuration, changes, and enhancements, in coordination
with users, management, and vendors. This position will be assigned
IT tickets or incidents. These will be L1, L2, and some L3
categories for troubleshooting and resolution. This position will
collaborate with various IT teams to address complex data, logic,
system, and process incidents and requests.

Performance Team and Damco Distribution, now part of the Maersk
global organization under a combined Warehousing & Distribution
division, offer third party logistics services to over 500
customers. Encompassing almost 15 million square feet of
warehousing capacity throughout the country and a large
transportation segment capturing a variety of services, we have key
supply chain hubs in the Los Angeles and New Jersey/New York areas,
and other facilities along the Western & Eastern coasts along with
multiple locations in the Midwest. Delivering significant sales and
profitability growth, we will drive the Inland Logistics and
Services business for the combined US business units for
Maersk.
Key responsibilities
ACCOUNTABILITY:
* Supports Operations to identify process changes, support business
objectives and drive efficiency
* Serve as WMS business super user in configuration,
troubleshooting, and future developments
* Solve complex challenges - use your research and superior
communication skills to provide clear and accurate resolution paths
on incoming tickets in accordance with SLA's
* Ownership and management of assigned IT Help Desk
incidents/tickets.
* Create and maintain effective knowledgebase documentation.
* This role has a rotating on-call component that requires some
work outside of normal business hours
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Debug, evaluate or analyze programming code or logic,
infrastructure setup and performance, or other IT solution
components
* Tasks that ensure that IT systems are up and running
* Translate Application Support needs and opportunities into
functional or technical requirements
* Contributes to satisfying requirements thru tasks that assist in
delivery activities, including planning, execution, quality
assessment, and issue resolution.
* Develop and maintain knowledgebase articles.
* Maintain and analyze various statistics.
* After-hours, emergency on-call support.
* Travel when required.
* Performs other related duties, as assigned.
We are looking for
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business
Administration, Operations, Logistics, or other related fields, or
equivalent experience
* Proficient in MSSQL.
* Experience with providing application user training.
* Knowledge of ANSI X12, XML, and Proprietary EDI/Data Exchange
processes
* Very strong functional and/or technical problem-solving
skills.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, written,
and oral communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Pay Range:
$104 - $135k*
* The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting range for
the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of
prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on
the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable
laws.
