Job Title : Network EngineerDuration :12 Months ContractLocation : Burbank, CA 91521

For this role they will need to have some experience in networking, preferably with Juniper, Arista and palo alto for fire walls. Essentially working with production clients making sure to help if they need new networks established or to connect to a third party and facilitate the connectivity. Troubleshoot issues with production workflows, storage and video streaming.
Description/Comment:Responsible for identifying the appropriate telecommunication, WAN, MAN, and LAN technology solutions that meet customer business requirements. * This position must be able to provide Design Requirement Document, network designs, project proposal, manage network implementations, provide status to the Business Units, and participate in backbone network designs and deployment of new technologies. *Also acts as a technical source to evaluate evolving Telecommunication technology and perform as a consultant interface to the Business Units for new company initiatives. *In addition, Network Design * reviews the Supplier recommended solutions/projects to ensure the design meets the business need.
Basic QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES: --- Day-to-day operational support of network infrastructure and services --- Troubleshoot technical issues with other technical staff and end-users --- Support the teams dedicated to building and operating core network infrastructure --- Develop technical and process documentation
CORE QUALIFICATIONS --- Minimum of two years in the engineering or operations of network technologies --- Must understand basic troubleshooting techniques and be a logical problem solver --- Must have good interpersonal skills and be motivated to help wherever needed --- Ability to work well in a team environment and lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds --- Must be available for any shift including evenings, holidays or weekends
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:--- Working knowledge of setup and troubleshooting of network services--- Experience with Arista, Brocade, Infoblox or PAN-OS--- Working knowledge of CWDM, DWDM and optical networking technologies--- AAA, RADIUS, DNS, NTP, monitoring, and logging--- Ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously--- Strong organization skills and professional demeanor. Ability to work under pressure and manage difficult situations, high-touch customers, and mission critical deadlines--- Experience working in media production environments
