Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager specializing in Mold Injection to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics manufacturing, quality control systems, and compliance standards. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards Continuously improve quality processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS requirements Mold Injection Process Control: Oversee quality control measures throughout the mold injection process Develop and implement process control plans for new and existing products Analyze process data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Collaborate with production teams to optimize mold design and injection parameters Material and Product Testing: Establish and maintain testing protocols for raw materials, in-process components, and finished products Oversee laboratory operations and ensure accurate and timely testing results Interpret test results and provide recommendations for process adjustments or material changes Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer specifications, and internal quality standards Stay updated on relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements Prepare and maintain documentation for compliance audits and certifications Supplier Quality Management: Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards Collaborate with procurement teams to select and qualify new suppliers Customer Quality Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries and concerns Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions Participate in customer audits and quality reviews Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and technicians
