Drug Substance Technologies Synthetics (Organic Chemistry) (Summer
2026) What You Will Do Lets do this. Lets change the world. During
this program, you will work with members of the Enabling
Technologies group within the DSTS organization primarily focused
on the execution of high-throughput experimentation (HTE) workflows
to expand our automation and digitalization capabilities. Advancing
the applications of data management/visualization, machine
learning, cheminformatics, and predictive modeling to support HTE
workflows will be central to this internship. The intern will have
the opportunity to apply their expertise in automation and digital
workflows to advance critical initiatives within HTE. The intern
will also have the chance to engage with other scientists and
engineers within the DSTS organization and across Amgen. What We

Qualifications: Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a
grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the
following criteria: 18 years or older Graduated with a bachelors
degree from an accredited college or university Currently enrolled
in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters program for a
Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR
Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university
and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR Pharm D OR
Ph.D. program before the internship starts Enrolled in an
accredited college or university following the potential internship
or co-op assignment Must not be employed at the time the internship
starts Student must be located in the United States for the
duration of the internship Preferred Qualifications: In the process
of completing a PhD program with concentration in Chemistry,
Chemical Engineering, and/or Data Sciences, with a focus or
interest in organic synthesis and chemical engineering Strong
communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management,
problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills Demonstrated
personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability,
and resourcefulness Experience in some of the following areas is
preferred: conducting HTE work, advanced data
analysis/visualization, machine learning, cheminformatics, and

opportunity in the U.S. is $30 - $40 per hour. Build a network of
